What is views?
Each plan in TrustHero has a certain limit on the number of views. One view counts each time our widget is loaded on your website.
IMPORTANT:
Site opening โ number of views. Most of our widgets are not loaded immediately when the site is opened. They are loaded only when the user starts scrolling the page and approaches the block in which our widget is embedded at a distance of less than 30% of the height to the widget. This approach allows us to avoid charging extra views.
Example: The height of the entire page is 10,000 px. Our widget is set at 8,000 px from the beginning of the page. When the visitor scrolls 6,000 px, we load the widget.
Views โ Unique page visitors. The same user can visit your website multiple times and interact with the widget.
Views โ The number of times a visitor actually sees the widget. To maximize your users' experience when using your site, we load the widget a little earlier, but not immediately upon opening the site (as above).
Views โ Clicks on the widget.
Example:
You have installed a Google Reviews Widget closer to the footer of your site. The user came to your site and viewed the first 2-3 blocks and then left the site. In this case, our widget did not load, so there will be no view.
Why are there viewing limits?
The higher the traffic to your site, the more users will see our widgets. And the more users who see our widgets, the more often we will need to upload the widget to your site. Increasing the frequency of loading widgets on your site requires more utilization of our server resources. It is also important to realize that the view limit is set for the entire application, not for each widget or page of the site separately.
A few examples:
1. You have more than one widget in the application - views will be summarized.
2. You have a widget on two different pages - the views will be totaled.
3. You have two widgets of the same app on the same page - this will also count as two views, not one.
View limit
Each tariff plan has its own limit of views per month. For the Free plan - 500 views per month, Start - 5,000 views per month, Pro - 50,000 views per month, Business - 1,000,000 views per month. Views are counted for each app separately from the moment when the first widget was created in the app.
The limit reset period is 1 month. TrustHero uses a standard calendar approach to calculate the payment period, which is usually a month.
If you use a monthly subscription in TrustHero, the limit reset (payment) period will be calculated based on a calendar month, regardless of the number of days in the month.
Example:
If you have a monthly subscription, it will automatically renew every month, including months with 28, 29, 30 or 31 days. This means that your monthly subscription will have the same expiration date even if the length of the month differs. For example, if you started your subscription on January 1, it will renew every 1st day of each subsequent month (February 1, March 1, etc.), regardless of the number of days in each month.
This approach provides more transparent and stable management of limits and payments.
