In this video guide is a complete step-by-step tutorial on how to activate and setup your item (desktop and mobile).
Instructions on how to activate items with the device you have on hand:
Item activation via desktop
Step 1: Sign Up or Log In to Your TrustHero Account
Go to the TrustHero sign up page.
Enter your email and password, or sign up using your Google account.
Step 2: Activate your item
Navigate to the Items tab in the left-side menu and click Add Item.
Enter your item number and click Activate.
The Item number is an 8-digit code located below the QR code on your product.
Step 3: Set Up Your Item
You can setup your NFC or QR code redirect in three ways:
Connect a Review Site
Choose the review site where customers will be redirected after scanning your item.
Use the search bar to find and select your business.
Note: If you can’t find your business using the search, you can add a direct link to your Google Business Profile under the “Link” tab.
Assign a name to your item. This is helpful if you:
- Distribute cards to different employees.
- Set up stands at multiple locations.
- You can easily track analytics for each item.
Click Save.
To apply settings to a single item, click Activate at the bottom of the modal window.
To apply the same settings to multiple items:
- Enter the additional item numbers.
- Click Add.
- Then, click Activate.
The activated item will appear in the Items tab.
If you need to update its settings, you can do so directly from this tab.
Connect external link
You can configure redirection from your item to any link. To do this, go to the Link tab.
Insert any link you want.
Connect form
Click the Forms tab.
Select one of the created forms or create a new one.
